Combination of version one and two, Mateo fell in with Lyra and Warren. A messed up threesome if there ever was one; Mateo followed the pair across the country on their killing spree, despite what Lyra did to Kit. Mateo didn't help them kill, and ignored it when fully possible, but at night when he fell into bed with them, he didn't question the blood beneath their finger nails.
